Geronimo once roamed where I now live and nearby mountains, Gull. He was a Chiricahuan Apache. He was a contemporary of Chief Cochise. A large tall mountain range is named after them, the Chiricahuas. A famous rock formation there is named ‘Cochise Head’. I was inspired to do a painting featuring it many years ago that appears in my FAA Gallery.
